Summer Naps in the Hammock

March 20, 2012 § 2 Comments

This morning I woke up already needing a nap.  I don’t know how it is possible to wake up more tired than when I went to bed, but that is the kind of day it has been.  All I’ve accomplished is to buy a few groceries and make this mosaic collection of fabrics. Well… and read a few blog posts… and in particular, Katy’s.

Katy is hosting a contest on her blog.  All you have to do is make a mosaic with the Big Huge Lab’s tool featuring 12 fabrics you have chosen from Pink Castle Fabric’s web site or etsy shop and then post the link to your mosaic (on your blog or on Flickr) back in Katy’s post. Go and read for more details and to see what fabrics everyone else is choosing.

It was so fun to dream… This color combo has me dreaming of summer naps in the hammock.  It’s my favorite place to nap when the sun is out and the air is warm and the grass smells good. But for today… I will have to settle for napping on the sofa with the cats and a good book.

Here’s the list of fabrics I’ve chosen that remind me of summer naps in the hammock.

Sundae Stripe by Bonnie and Camille
