Packing for Sisters OR

Food, fabric & class projects, computer, camera, knitting, sewing machine & clothes!

I’ve never been on any sort of quilting retreat.  How do you all do it??  I feel like I’ve packed a ton!

I discovered that LeeAnn and I are in the same class on Friday.  Cool!  I can’t wait to meet her!

Looks very organized…a bag for each type of activity! Have fun!

Sounds wonderful! Jealouse. Have fun and learn lots to share here, please.

Yes, it does seem like you pack too much for retreats. It’s even funnier when you realize that there are quilt vendors and shops available for you to check out and buy even more stuff.

It’s even harder when there are open sewing times, so you wonder which extra project to take along. Keep you journal available to write what you used and didn’t use, what you fogot to bring and thenwhat others brought which were a great idea.

Oh! Have fun at your retreat. Yes, it’s normal to pack a ton. At least that’s been my experience!

I was using your Knife Edge Binding tutorial (thank you!), and came to the homepage to see what you were currently working on. I LOVE that watercolor prawn/vegetable fabric! Any leads on the origin of it?
