Spring Asparagus

spring asparagus anyone?

I was encouraged to make a couple more asparagus sprigs over the weekend.  Maybe the first one won’t be so lonely?  Having more than one does  make the whole lot look a little better.

And I re-arranged my sewing room for awhile to try and gain some motivation and a new perspective to finish a few things. It’s a little bit more cramped, but I did make 10 more Liberated Wedding Ring blocks. That project was supposed to be my slow winter project. Sadly, it became the forgotten winter project.  But now I’m motivated to dig around in my scrap bins again.  And I’m wondering where I should send all the quilts that could be potentially made from all those scraps.  (I know…  you all want one! I’m thinking charities)

Happy Monday to you!

re-arranging the sewing room always give some fresh air for sewing it self. I did the same to mine, but I also saw all the wip that I have. Fortunately, there is a beautiful Liberated wedding ring quilt to inspire me.
    Have a nice week!

What a happy-looking space! So glad you’re getting stuff done. That means I can read about it and feel a little productive, too. Thanks!

The Liberated Wedding ring tutorial is awsome, I know what I will do next!

  • Love your work space and the sewing table…is the extendible bit at the back on a hinge? Looks very industrious!

Anita, these are delicious! The background fabrics are as much fun looking and cute as the asparagus bunch. Your sewing room is chock full of inspiration and a lovely space to spend hours dreaming and planning fun projects.

  • Great post thanks for sharing. You have a great layout here. Quilting is something I really enjoy doing. It passes the time and is very relaxing.

  • The asparagus is hilarious! Curious about your quilting table, what kind is it?
