Brrrrr Park by Minick & Simpson

Contemplating a guilt-free, no-deadline, just-because-I-feel-like-it Snow Day/Holiday quilt to work on for the next couple of weeks.  Then… back to work on the things I should be doing.

Yes, we finally did get some snow yesterday.  6 or 7 inches of that beautiful fluffy stuff.  Beautiful and fluffy on the trees. Icy and slippery on the roads. Jack-knifed semis and 12-car pile-ups.  Closed freeways. We stayed home. I puttered about the house and did a little bit of catch-up sewing.

Ohhhhh — I’ve had my eye on that pattern for some time! I can’t wait to see your result, Anita! Glad you finally got some white stuff – and a tad more than over here!

ooooh nice! I love minnick and simpson – and I love the guilt free stitching that we get after Christmas – nothing else matches it all year round. Your snow sounds so lovely – but the traffic bit sounds wretched, I’d definitely be the stay at home snow person!

    Hi Anita,
I’m glad that you finally have some snow …even in the desert it snows and here in Germany it looks more like…well, some indefinable brown-grey weather ;o).
I love that pattern you chose & can’t wait for your version of the quilt!
    Have a great day,
