The Sock Drawer Runneth Over

Sock knitting over the last few months… It feels immensely good to have all of these socks and their mates finished. You see, my best friend wants a pair of socks for Christmas. I aim to please and will try to oblige. Hopefully, it will be a little easier now that all of these have moved from the knitting basket to the sock drawer.
Pattern – Spring Foward, Knitty.com
Yarn – Zitron Trekking XXL, color 175
Started in July, finished in August
Pattern – Crosshatch Lace from the book More Sensational Socks by Charlene Schurch
Yarn – Zitron Trekking XXL, color 175 leftover from the Spring Forward socks above and Opal Rainforest, color Flamingo leftover from another pair of socks that I made for my best friend last year… or was it the year before?
Started in July, finished in September.
Pattern – Through the Loops Mystery Socks for Soctoberfest
Yarn – Fearless Fibers Merino Wool, color Miracle which I discover was hand wash only. It frustrates me that I didn’t look closely and see this when I bought the yarn. I loathe to hand wash socks.
Started in October, finished in November.
Pattern – Evening Socks for a Young Lady from the book Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush
Yarn – Pagewood Farm Yukon Bamboo/Merino, color Rainbow. Really, really nice yarn to work with!
Started in September, finished in November.
Gary was lying on the floor in the computer room to take these photos while I quick-changed between socks and stood out on the patio. What a hubby!
