Let It Snow

December 2, 2007 § Leave a comment

I’m a little bit surprised that we got as much snow as we did yesterday. By 9pm last night we had nearly 6 inches of snow. That’s unusual around here.

By this morning it was more than half melted and it was raining. It makes me laugh when I check the weather forecast in bloglines. How many ways can one say that it’s going to rain? Today… Lot’s of Rain. Tomorrow… Tons of Rain. Hmmm. It has been very wet and blustery today.

And we have been talking about making paper snowflakes for some time. So, no better time to make them than when there have been a few flakes falling outside as well. We used this web site as a reference point. Our snowflakes didn’t always end up six-sided but that’s okay. Each snowflake is unique, right?

We are hoping that all the ski lifts in all the mountains are getting a Ton Of Snow (not rain) this weekend! Our skis are tuned and ready to go.

Go ahead, say something...
