It’s Never Too Late

It’s never too late to finish a project. Never-mind that this quilt top had been sitting on a shelf for years waiting to be quilted. It’s one of my very first big, bed-sized quilt tops. I finally gave in and sent it to a long-arm quilter to be quilted.
The last stitch on the binding was finished this morning. It’s a huge quilt. Maybe 90-inches square. And, I even cut the border down a little bit. It was meant to be a summer bed quilt. It feels like autumn today. I love autumn.
After the binding was finished, I got the bug to clean. It took 2 hours to clean behind all the computer cables, but it feels so good to have that done. Sometimes I wonder if I am more of a fall-cleaning kind of a gal rather than a spring-cleaning one.
I think the pattern was in a magazine but I don’t remember which one. After some Google searching I did find this one. But the cover doesn’t look familiar at all. The pattern is Robert Callaham’s Rainbow Around the World.
Did I say… I love autumn. And… I’m glad to have finally have finished this quilt. Even if the summer season is pretty much over.
