Scrappy Tiles*
April 13, 2012 § 17 Comments
I’m working on another scrappy half-square triangle quilt with the leftovers from my Scrappy Zig Zag quilt. This one is going to be lap size. I might be teaching a class this summer.
I see I need to re-arrange a few of them. That’s what is so good about taking a photo of the process. Happy Friday to you.
* I am so lame at thinking of good quilt names. What would you call it?

How about ‘Play around tiles’ cos that’s what you spend a lot of time doing with these hsts!!! Looks great so far! Jxo
My first thought was ‘Confetti’, love the colors in this!
I love it! When I first saw it I thought of “Scrappy Sparkles” because in the picture the diamonds seem to sparkle…or maybe “Queen of Diamonds”?
what about confetti tiles? i like the tile part. because it reminds me of mediterranean tiles. kind of kaffe fassetty
super pretty
BEAUTIFUL!
I love Scrappy Tiles….and I LOVE half square triangles done yet another way!!!! Couldn’t be cuter…Hugs…Susan
Or what about “Diamond Dazzle”…I keep thinking as I’m sewing
oh, I love it! I’m bad at naming my quilts, too. it makes it so final. I like people to get thir own ideas when they look at my quilts. This uqilt makes me thing of spring and happiness and using up what you’ve got while creating something beautiful. Sherbit-y. Just random thoughts!
“Brite Tiles” … That is what your blocks bring to my mind. They are really gorgeous, can hardly wait for the finish!
So pretty. Reminds me of a field of spring flowers.
How about Spring Garden?
Actually Antia, I love it just the way it is….and I’d call it Diamond Shades.
I would call it ” mirror tiles” because it looks like reflections coming off of the bright squares. It’s really beautiful, I love it!!!!
Hi Anita, I would call it Shingles!!
it’s beautiful, Anita! you do amazing work with HST’s. with any fabric, really.
very pretty one of my favorite lay outs can’t wait to see it as a finished quilt!

Did you teach this class yet????
