Isn’t this the cutest fabric? I purchased it from ReproDepot.com but now it appears to be gone. Wow, that went fast. I guess one needs to act fast on these things.
It’s going to be a quilt for a friend who is having her first baby. It’s a girl. She loves Asian decorating. And her husband likes African. When I asked her how she was going to decorate the baby’s room, she said, “uh, monkeys, maybe?” ReproDepot called this fabric “The Monkey and the Crab” and it’s been making me laugh ever since I first spotted it. The fabric was produced by Cosmo Textiles in Japan.

hi! I’m very flattered to be in your ‘inspirational’ column – thankyou!
Love your quilt patterns – I’ve been trying to get my own line and website up and running, but it is frustratingly slow. Congratulations on getting yours done! I’ll be a regular visitor.

It is very cute. I love how everything has a face and big happy eyes on all the Japanese fabric.
